How we built this list
Occupations where women are at least 40% of the workforce (BLS Current Population Survey), that pay at least the US median and are projected to grow, ranked on the same three equal-weighted percentiles as our best-jobs-for-the-future list: BLS projected growth, BLS median pay and the NueCareer AI-resilience score.
- Included when women are at least 40% of the workforce (BLS Current Population Survey), the BLS OEWS median is at least the US median and BLS projects employment to grow.
- Ranked on three equal-weighted percentiles: projected growth, median pay and the NueCareer AI-resilience score (our O*NET analysis, not a federal figure).
- BLS publishes one wage per occupation code, and several O*NET job titles can share a code. Only one title per code is listed, so the same wage does not appear over and over.
- Occupations with no BLS wage or projection data are excluded rather than estimated.
- The list is regenerated from source data on every bank refresh. It is not hand-picked and no editorial ranking is applied.
