How we built this list
Occupations the Bureau of Labor Statistics places in its highest relative AI exposure category, meaning AI could be or already is used to assist with or complete a large share of the work. BLS is explicit that exposure does not mean job loss. Inside the category, jobs are ordered by the NueCareer AI-resilience score (lowest first), which reads how much of the work is routine information processing in O*NET.
- Included when the Bureau of Labor Statistics places the occupation in its "Very high" relative AI exposure category (Employment Projections supplemental table, 2025–35). BLS built the categories from five public measures of where AI could be or already is used in the work.
- BLS states plainly that exposure does not imply job loss, productivity gains, automation probability or wage effects. The page title answers the question people search; the honest answer is "exposed", not "replaced".
- Inside the category, jobs are ordered by the NueCareer AI-resilience score from lowest to highest. That score is our analysis of O*NET work activities, not a BLS figure.
- BLS publishes one wage per occupation code, and several O*NET job titles can share a code. Only one title per code is listed, so the same wage does not appear over and over.
- Occupations with no BLS wage or projection data are excluded rather than estimated.
- The list is regenerated from source data on every bank refresh. It is not hand-picked and no editorial ranking is applied.
